Of course we would have to post about Jenna Bush's wedding over the weekend. I loved her gown and thought she looked very happy.

Happy Mothers Day
Wonderful Mother
God made a wonderful mother
A mother who never grows old;
He made her smile of the sunshine
And He molded her heart of pure gold
In her eyes He placed bright shining stars
In her cheeks fair roses you see
God made a wonderful mother
And He gave that dear mother to me.
In memory of my mother, Dolores Bertolino

What? No Linens?
Many times when helping a bride with the wedding design, I ask how much is allotted for linens. I usually get the same reply “I was just going to use the linens that was provided with my package”. YIKES! This is one area of the wedding that is so overlooked, but is SO important. Having beautiful linens transforms any room, whether it is already elegant or not. Using the appropriate linens will give your wedding a completed coordinated look and will portray the story you are telling and deliver a message so strong; you and your guests will remember it forever! It will also make you stand out from your typical wedding and make yours so chic! So, when planning your wedding budget, you should allot about 8-10% of your budget for linens. Don’t think of it as an extra expense, think of it as a much needed necessity.
At La Bliss, we'll work with you to find the perfect linens for your wedding. We have many fabrics, colors, and patterns to choose from. And the best part is, we install everything for you which saves you time to attend to more important matters like - getting married!

CHURCH PEW DECOR
Need some inspiration for your wedding pew décor? If you’re tired of seeing the same old UGLY tulle bows on the pews, this is for you! A cute and clever way to dress up your pews is using fabric, or more specifically satin sashes! The pew sash is a great alternative to the usual pew décor and can coordinate with your wedding colors. The choices are endless in what and how you can create the look you want.
For money-saving ideas use one sash and alternate on each pew. If you have a bigger budget, use two coordinating colors. You can also place one fresh flower in the top or use some creative ties with tassels and beads. Whatever combination you decide, it is sure to create a beautiful aisle for your wedding day!
